CHARITY TOUR

AT REQUEST ONLY

2 HOURS

As beautiful as Zanzibar is, we don't want to forget those ones who are less fortunate. As a result we decided to cooperate with projects that fight poverty and support education and health issues. If you are interested in getting to know their work, we can connect with the people in charge of these organisations. As we have to coordinate these tours with the project leaders individually, we don't have fixed schedules. Just ask us for availability and we try to arrange something.

Find here the organisations that we support:

1.) Nakujali Education Partnership: this charity organisation is supporting education in Tanzania through partnership programs. Their goal is to improve the perspective of young students by arranging individual partnerships with sponsors. Find out more about them here: www.nakujali.org

2.) Samiu-L-Baswir Nursery School: founded by Sikandar Jacub, this kindergarten/school provides free education for orphans or children of poor families. The German organisation RGV (Rainbow Garden Village) organises volunteer programs for those who want to improve the education in Zanzibar. Please note: in case you want to visit a school to bring little gifts for the children, you are only allowed to do that after meeting us and the director of the school. It's not a sign of mistrust, but for us it is important to guarantee the safety of the children.
